Deeside is famous for its scenic beauty with unrivalled soaring conditions and offers unrivalled opportunities for exhilarating flying with very high altitude flights.
Deeside gliding Club is on th A93 Aberdeen to Braemar road about 2 miles west of Aboyne and very close to Ballater. It is recognised by the Scottish Sports Council as a specialist facility. It is a BGA member and is directly affiliated to all Scottish clubs.
Lary Cottage is a perfect self catering location for keen gliders and is approximately ten minutes drive from Deeside Gliding Club.
